Yokohama Tire Announces Voluntary Recall of 610 Light Truck Tires

Yokohama Tire Corporation has notified NHTSA it is voluntarily recalling two sizes of the GEOLANDAR M/T G003 Light Truck tire line. The LT245/75R16 120/116Q and LT285/70R17 121/118Q were manufactured at Yokohama’s Mie Plant in Japan between May 31, 2026, and June 6, 2026. A total of 610 GEOLANDAR M/T G003 tires are believed to be affected.

The recall, initiated in accordance with NHTSA regulations, was issued because the tires may have been manufactured with an improper compound in the sidewall. Reduced adhesion may cause carcass-ply separation, air leakage, or rapid air loss. Loss of inflation pressure can reduce vehicle control and increase crash risk.

For questions or assistance, contact Yokohama customer service by calling 1-800-722-9888, by email recall@yokohamatire.com, or visiting https://www.yokohamatire.com/owners-circle/recalls.
