Yokohama Mississippi Casing Splice Recall08/26/2023
Yokohama Tire Corporation is initiating a voluntary recall of certain tires manufactured in The West Point, MS plant in 2022. The recall is because of a manufacturing anomaly. Tires may experience sudden air loss from a sidewall blowout, resulting the potential for reduced vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.View Bulletin.
Yokohama Mississippi Tread Base Compound Recall12/15/2022Yokohama Tire Corporation is initiating a voluntary recall of certain tires manufactured in the West Point, MS plant in May and June 2022. These tires may have been manufactured with an out-of-specification tread base compound. There is potential for a portion of the tread to separate from the casing of the tire increasing the risk of a crash.
